Boston & Maine Railroad Haymarket Station opens.

October 20, 1845

Architect: Nathaniel Bradlee. It is located in an area that had formerly been part of Mill Pond. The building is used until North Station opens in 1894, and the building is demolished in 1897 to make way for construction of Boston City Hospital.
